This formula is designed to support the liver’s detoxification functions and contains herbal ingredients that (in terms of TCM) nourish and tonify the Liver, soothe the Liver and resolve constraint (i.e. disperse stagnant Liver Qi) and clear Liver Heat.
Cautions
- Avoid coffee, deep fried foods, high glycemic foods and hydrogenated fats.
- Contraindicated for those on anti-coagulant medications (i.e. heparin, warfarin, aspirin) or interferon.
- Contains Glycyrrhiza, which potentiates prednisone and corticosteroids by prolonging steroid biological half-life; caution in patients with hypertension.
