Nutrition Care Selenosol Drops

THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED

Selenosol is an orally administered liquid preparation of selenomethionine, the dietary form of selenium, an essential trace mineral.

Selenosol contains selenomethionine, a well-absorbed organic selenium bound to methionine. This is the common dietary form of selenium and is easily utilised by the body’s tissues and muscles. For organic selenium, chronic exposure exerts toxic effects at 3mg per day and although probable, for acute exposure, toxicity has not been reported.

Active Ingredients
Each drop of selenosol contains: Ingredient  Qty
Selenium  10mcg
(from selenomethionine 24.8mcg)
Contains ethanol

Dosage
Take 1 drop in water twice daily or as directed by a Health Care Professional.
Possible Uses

The active ingredients in Nutrition Care Pharmaceuticals formulations, when appropriately prescribed, may assist patients suffering from specific conditions. This statement does not imply or make a claim for a cure for these disorders. The use of Nutrition Care products should be based on published and relevant scientific and clinical data for each condition.

Adverse Effects
Selenium toxicity has not been observed at doses of 600mcg/day. Selenium toxicity is often a result of chronic workplace or environmental exposure to inorganic selenium.
