Mount Somers Honey is proudly sourced from some of the most unpolluted and isolated areas of New Zealand and is GM Free. It has a uniquely rich, complex flavour and a distinctly smooth, creamy, velvety texture.
Well established and world-renowned, the UMF rating indicates the quality, purity, potency and strength of each individual batch of Manuka honey. The UMF quality mark assesses the key signature markers, confirming measured levels of methylglyoxal (MGO), Dehydroxymethylfurfural (DHA) and Leptosperin. Initially identified as the components giving Manuka honey its unique antibacterial properties, the UMF rating is directly linked to the amount of MGO found.
