Vital Greens was developed in Australia in the year 2000 by two Sydney based naturopaths. Vital Greens is an easily absorbed carefully balanced blend of essential nutrients, extracted from natural dense greens, vegetables and fruits.

With 76 ingredients in every serve, Vital Greens is an all-in-one comprehensive daily multi-nutrient. Two heaped teaspoons are loaded with vitamins and minerals, high levels of antioxidants, pre and probiotics, essential fatty acids, fibre and our uniquely alkaline pea protein – all of this to help provide your daily nutritional requirements.

Vital Greens is vegan, and is free from gluten, dairy, wheat and artificial flavours and sweeteners.

What is the triple complex sweetener that you use in Vital Greens?

We use a natural complex of thaumatin, stevia and monk fruit in Vital Greens. Thaumatin is a protein naturally extracted from the seed shells of the West African Katemfe fruit, stevia is a natural sweetener extracted from the Stevia rebaudiana plant, whilst monk fruit is native to southern China and Thailand and is nearly 300 times sweeter than sugar.

We introduced a triple complex sweetener to help counteract the bitterness of the organic sprouts we’ve added to enhance the Vital Greens formulation. Our naturopaths, Shane & Stephen, have introduced the organic sprouts, along with aloe vera gel, to ensure you get the very best, most highly nutritious supplement available

I notice you use certified organic ingredients in Vital Greens. Why aren’t all of the ingredients organic?

We use certified organic ingredients in Vital Greens where possible. Our broccoli, kale & barley sprouts, apple powder, flaxseed powder, and wheatgrass powder are all certified organic. With 76 different ingredients in Vital Greens it isn’t always possible to source certified organic ingredients. Some ingredients are not certifiable or not certified organic.

I have a 4 year old child, what dosage should I give him of Vital Greens?
For children aged 5 – 12 years, we recommend Vital Kids for children under this age, we recommend getting advice from a health care professional to assess the individual requirements of your child.

Can Vital Greens be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding? 
We recommend consulting with a health care professional whilst pregnant or lactating.

Why do I have to keep Vital Greens in the fridge once I have opened it? Do I have to use it within a certain period?
Vital Greens contains probiotics which need to be refrigerated once opened to maintain their potency. We recommend using Vital Greens within 90 days of opening, to maintain the freshness and potency of the 76 ingredients.

Is Vital Greens gluten and wheat free?
Vital Greens is gluten and wheat free. It is also suitable for vegetarians, vegans, lactose free, corn free, dairy free and not tested on animals.

Vital Greens contains wheat grass, is it wheat free?
Yes Vital Greens is wheat free and gluten free. Wheat grass is suitable for people avoiding gluten and wheat because it is cut when it is very young, at this stage the grass does not contain any gluten. The gluten is present in the wheat kernel, after the wheat plant has grown for a long time.
